Installation Nym wallet

Use your NYM tokens to maintain your privacy in the age of artificial intelligence.

Download and install the wallet to store your NYM tokens, link to node or delegate mixnodes and get a share of the rewards.

Download Nym wallet

Go to the Download section of the Nym website and select Wallet

Next, select the operating system that suits your computer and click Download. Save the installation file to your computer. In my example it will be Windows

Installation

Run the downloaded installation file by double-clicking the mouse and proceed with the installation by clicking Next

Choose a folder for installation. I leave it as default. If you want to save to a different directory, click Change....

Click Install to start the installation process

The system may ask for permission to install, grant it by clicking "Yes". After the installation is complete, you will see a message:

Click Finish and start creating the wallet.

Create a new wallet

To create a new wallet, select Create account in the window that appears:

A window with a secret phrase consisting of 24 words appears in front of us. You should be sure to keep it in a safe place, away from prying eyes. The secret phrase is the access to your assets.

Maintaining the privacy and security of the passphrase is key to the long-term security of the user's cryptocurrency assets!

The next step is to match the word number in order with the word itself in the phrase. For example, the second word is name, the ninth word is reveal, the eighth word is pottery, the fifth word is blind, the twenty-second word is become, and the twelfth word is indoor. After matching, click Next.

Set a strong password that is at least 8 characters long and contains at least one number and one character

We can skip this step and enter the wallet by mnemonic (secret) phrase. To do this, at the very bottom select "Skip and Sign in with mnemonic".

This completes the installation of the wallet. Now you can launch Nym wallet and login in a convenient way.
